My favorite Film

Hello again, I hope you are well

Today I write about my favorite movie, this is “Les Misérables” directed by Tom Hooper, this is a musical drama film is based on novel French by Victor Hugo. This film stars ensemble cast led by Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, and Amanda Seyfried.

Les Miserables is set in France century XIX and tells a touching story of broken dreams, unrequited love and sacrifice.

The movie tells the story of Jean Valjean an ex-convict that after being twenty years in jail he was released by prison guard Jarvet, when Jean is free, the people rejects for being an ex-convict, this him causing hatred towards society. But the bishop of Digne offered food and refuge, this causes a change in him.

After eight years he becomes mayor of a town in France, here he was met Fantine who has a daughter whom maintain and that is why she should prostitute themselves. When Fantine dies, Jean decides to take care of Cossette and treats her as his own daughter, but must flee as a fugitive, because Jarvet wants to capture him.

Nine years later that Jean has been the father of Cosette, the story is set in the pre-French Revolution, when Lamarque is about to die, the social unrest was present, this is where the romance develops between Cosette and a leader of the French Revolution, Marius.

Marius and Cosette then marry and Jean dies easy knowing that your daughter would be happy. And years after, the French Revolution finally takes place, when the king of France run away and born a new republic.

I hope you can see this movie as it is very moving and the stories that take, show how big it is the will of the people.
